I sketch in the car, in restaurants, at bluegrass music shows, everywhere! I have several sketchbooks filled with watercolors; and drawings in pen & ink, colored pencil, drawing crayons, and graphite. I love it all. I most enjoy painting whimsical still life. I collect cobalt blue glass and pottery, and I like to paint them with flowers or fruit and bright, juicy colors. My favorite medium is watercolor, because its always a challenge and very unpredictable. I have recently discovered the versatility of acrylics and I'm enjoying working with those, as well as collage elements.
