How to Print an Inexpensive Greeting Card at HomeWant to print your own Art Cards at home?

Here's How:Tips:
- Create your design either in computer or by hand.
- Size of image should be approximately 3.75" by 5".
- If image is done outside computer it must be scanned into computer.
- Save the image as a Pict file or whatever format your word processing application will accept.
- In word processor set page set-up for 8.5" by 11".
- Lay out this document in "portrait" and divide into quarters. Each quarter being 4.25" by 5.5".
- Image will be centered into lower right quarter of page.
- If you want message to print on inside of card, the message will be centered in upper left quarter.
- Message must appear upside down to print correctly.
- Set up printer for "portrait" and for whatever color set up you desire.
- Print a test copy.
- Fold printout in half from top to bottom.
- Fold in half again from side to side.
- Image should now be centered on the front of card with message appearing on inside right page. Closed fold should be along top edge of card.
- Adjust image and message in word processor if necessary.
- Use 60 lb. offset paper in choice of color. Paper can be bought through local print shop.
- Use a #5 1/2 Baronial Envelope in matching color for cards. Envelopes available through local print shop.
