Influenced and Inspired from so many angles of life, she often finds herself bombarded by ideas. Primarily working with fabrics, metals, gemstones; she creates quilts, clothing, accessories, and jewelry. Found Objects are used for jewelry, and accents on other items. Photography also intrigues her; horse photography is what really keeps her eyes open.
Her mother has always encouraged her crazy ideas. Around age 7 or 8, her mom enrolled her in 4-H, between that and her mother, she learned how to sew. In college she made extra money making clothes and quilts. The part time job furthered past college, to lead her to, vending at music festivals. This is when she was even more inspired to make jewelry. Intermittently she has worked at several different horse farms. She currently works for a HVACR company, where her curiosity and creativeness are still nourished. Now she is learning how to use metal to make art.
While attending the University of Findlay in Ohio, she earned a B.S. in Equine Business Management. She also studied photography and participated in the schools music program, in concert and jazz band. Influences in her art range from the romantic west, to cats playing jazz, to nature and simplicity.
